Protest by over 400 people over alleged land scam in Devanahalli

Over 400 people protested at Amrutahalli Police Station, alleging that crores of rupees were collected from them through a land scam in Bommanahalli. The protest was held by those who paid money but have not received their allotted plots even after 10 to 12 years. The allegations concern the promise of plot allotment under the name of the BSNL Central and State Government IT Employees and Retired Employees Housing Construction Cooperative Society.
