Karnataka HC directs BDA to adhere to guidelines in litigations

The Karnataka High Court directed the Bengaluru Development Authority (BDA) to strictly adhere to 11 guidelines and a circular in all cases filed by the BDA. The court also allowed appeals filed by the BDA against orders dated March 7, 2024, and August 18, 2023. The division bench said that the scheme for Banashankari VI Stage has been substantially implemented and that the BDA cannot form island layouts on small pockets of land.
