Heart transported via Namma Metro on Wednesday

A heart was transported via Namma Metro on Wednesday from Sparsh Hospital in Goraguntepalya to Apollo Hospital near Mantri Square. Doctors decided to use the Metro for transport due to potential delays in a vehicle. The heart was brought to Goraguntepalya Metro Station at 2:20 PM, and by 2:22 PM, the team entered the Metro train. It reached Mantri Square Station in 18 minutes, where it was transferred to an emergency vehicle for transport to Apollo Hospital. This is the sixth life-saving organ transported via Metro, including one liver, three hearts, and one pair of lungs.
