Farmers protest at J.C. Circle over Manmunul scandal and water release to Tamil Nadu

Farmers' associations and Kannada Sena workers protested at J.C. Circle on Friday. They protested against the Karnataka River Water Control Committee's recommendation to release 3,000 cusecs of water to Tamil Nadu and the Manmunul milk powder adulteration case. Leaders H.C. Manjunath and Shivalli Chandrashekar led the protest, which involved making a halt at the Bengaluru-Mysuru Old Highway and consuming milk to express anger.
