Special revision of voter list in Karnataka: 2.8 lakh SIR inquiries pending across the state

The special revision process of the voter list (SIR) has reached its final stage in Karnataka, with over 2.8 lakh inquiries still pending across the state. According to the Chief Electoral Officer's report, Bengaluru South BBMP zone leads with 65,335 pending inquiries, followed by Bengaluru City with 54,943 pending cases. The deadline for resolving rights and objections related to the voter list is October 22, and the final voter list will be officially published on October 27.
