Deputy CM suspends revenue official over negligence in Devanahalli office

Deputy Chief Minister and Revenue Minister Dr G Parameshwara suspended an official for negligence during a surprise inspection of the Devanahalli tahsildar’s office. He noted that the public had raised grievances regarding applications concerning Bagair Hukum lands and delays in 'Podi' and 'Durasti' works. Parameshwara also stated that over 300 applications have been received under the Prajaseve programme in Devanahalli taluk, with over 60% disposed of.
