Community Health Workers protest in Bengaluru demanding permanent service status and addressing various demands

Community Health Workers (CHM) organized a protest at Swatantrya Udyana in Bengaluru on Tuesday. The workers demanded permanent service status and the fulfillment of various demands. Protestors also demanded the withdrawal of the requirement of a BSc Nursing qualification for Primary Health Officer and CHO posts. They further demanded that all objections submitted by the union be comprehensively considered, that clear reasons be provided, and that a transparent and just inter-district transfer rule be implemented.
