565 Tonnes of Annabhagya Rice and 24 Vehicles Seized in Multiple Raids

Food Minister Rizwan Arshad stated that food department officials seized 565 tonnes of 'Annabhagya' rice and 24 vehicles during operations across the state. The minister noted that cases were registered in Belagavi, Vijayanapura, and Bengaluru Rural for illegal storage and transportation of ration rice. Officials also seized 35 tonnes of ration rice from the Attibele checkpoint in Bengaluru Rural, and 19 vehicles at a processing unit in Banashankari, Belagavi.
