BJP claims MLC poll sweep is a 'clear bridge to 2028' after NDA victory in all four Karnataka Legislative Council seats

Following the NDA's victory in all four Karnataka Legislative Council seats on Wednesday, 28 October, the BJP state office at Malleshwaram in Bengaluru wore a festive look. Opposition Leader R Ashoka stated that the NDA's victory was a 'clear message' to the Congress ahead of the 2028 Assembly elections. Former chief minister BS Yediyurappa also linked the outcome to the use of ballot papers, stating, 'BJP is the only guarantee for the 2028 elections.'
