Parking Fee Exemption for Residents in Jayanagar Homes Under Smart Parking

The Deputy Commissioner of South City Police informed that local residents will receive an exemption from parking fees for vehicles parked in front of their homes in Jayanagar under the new Smart Parking system. The Commissioner stated that no fee will be charged for residents to park vehicles in front of their residential homes, while commercial streets will see fees applied only from 9 AM to 10 PM. The project includes modern facilities like CCTV cameras, real-time parking availability via mobile apps, and variable message sign boards on selected main roads in Jayanagar.
