Public hearing held regarding expansion of SLR Metalics factory unit in Bommanahalli

A public hearing was held on Thursday regarding the expansion of the new units of SLR Metalics company in Lokappanahola village, Taluk. District Deputy Commissioner Kavita.S. Mannikeri addressed the gathering, stating that residents and the public living at the project site could offer suggestions and that grievances regarding the project could be submitted freely. Officials provided information on expanding the production capacity of the coke oven plant, increasing the power plant capacity, and establishing a new DRI unit. Various organization leaders requested the development of basic infrastructure and employment for locals in the villages surrounding the factory.
