Minister Krishna Bairegowda set a deadline of October 31 to complete the installation and replacement of LED street lights and old lights across the city. He also stated that a total fine of ₹93.67 lakh has been imposed on contractors who failed in street light maintenance. The minister directed officials to ensure that all remaining works are completed by October 31 and that the quality and functionality of the lights are continuously checked.
