Transport workers threaten to intensify protest in Bengaluru if demands are not met

Thousands of serving and retired employees of Karnataka’s four state-run transport corporations protested at Freedom Park on Wednesday. They demanded the government address long-pending issues, including a wage revision and payment of salary arrears. The Joint Action Committee (JAC) warned that the committee would intensify the agitation if the government fails to resolve the demands by October 22.
