Study of religious texts brings peace: MLA Jagadish Gudagunti

MLA Jagadish Gudagunti addressed the event in Jamakhandi, stating that studying scriptures is essential for understanding Sanatana culture, customs, and thoughts. The event, which featured a 'book-door' and women's procession of Ramayana, Mahabharata, and Bhagavata texts, was held in collaboration with Prabhulingeshwara Education Institute, Niranthara, Ravindra Pustakalaya Sagara, and Annapurna Publishing House in Bengaluru. Around 500 women were presented with the book-door. Speakers included S. Ahilya, Veena Bannanje, Dharmalingayya, and Parvati Gudagunti, the Vice-Chancellor of Bengaluru Sanskrit University.
