Two senior BBMP officials suspended over alleged misuse of e-Aasthi software, illegal e-khata issuance for over 100 flats

Two senior BBMP officials have been suspended following allegations of misuse of the 'e-Aasthi' software, which allegedly led to the illegal issuance of 'e-khata' for over 100 flats. The suspended officials are identified as Basavaraj Maggi, Deputy Revenue Officer of BBMP East, and Lokamatha D.S., Deputy Revenue Officer of BBMP West. The BBMP stated that the officials misused the software by granting e-khata using general sale deeds and other documents, even when they were not related to SARFAESI sale certificates.
