Six German artists to study facets of Bengaluru for 2026 residency

Six artists from Germany are set to participate in the 2026 edition of Goethe-Institut’s bangaloREsidency in Bengaluru. The artists will work on various themes and art forms over about eight weeks. Among them, Abel Korinksy will work at ISRO on the sonic heritage of Bangalore, while Thomas Lea Clarke plans to explore sound at the Indian Music Experience Museum in J P Nagar. Yana Tsegay will present a research project on Lalbagh.
