Rs 5.48 cr worth of MDMA seized, 6 arrested in Bengaluru

Girinagar, Hebbal, and Vidyaranyapura police conducted separate operations in Bengaluru, seizing 5.48 kg of MDMA worth Rs 5.48 crore and arresting six people. The seizures included 4.320 kg by Girinagar police, 1.054 kg by Hebbal police, and 106 grams by Vidyaranyapura police. Police stated that the six accused were allegedly procuring drugs from foreign countries, other states, and different parts of Karnataka, selling them to the public. Police Commissioner Seemant Kumar Singh also stated that the city police have seized 79.5 kg of MDMA and 1,000 ecstasy pills, valued at Rs 161 crore over the past four months.
