Protest held at Swatantrya Udyan demanding cancellation of SIR and resignation of Chief Election Commissioner

A protest was held at Swatantrya Udyan in Bengaluru on Saturday, led by the All India Students Federation and All India Youth Federation. Demonstrators protested against the Special Integrated Revision of the voter list (SIR) and demanded the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Jnanesh Kumar. Protestors demanded that no injustice should happen to eligible voters due to the SIR process and that every eligible citizen's right to vote must be protected.
