Pro-Kannada outfit launches campaign to protect jobs for Kannadigas in IT-BT firms

Pro-Kannada organisation Karnataka Rakshana Vedike (KRV) met representatives of various technology companies in Bengaluru on Monday. The meetings are part of a month-long campaign to assess employment opportunities for Kannadigas in the state's IT-BT sector. KRV urged employers to ensure fair employment opportunities, maintain transparency in recruitment, and respond to complaints of injustice against local candidates. The organization also asked companies to reveal data on local employees, the proportion of Karnataka candidates, and details of opportunities provided in the last three years.
