Priyank Kharge uses Purandara Dasa and Sarvajna's verses in response to HD Kumaraswamy

Priyank Kharge posted Purandara Dasa and Sarvajna's verses on social media platform X. He used the verses to respond to the ongoing accusations and counter-accusations between Union Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy and Home Minister Priyank Kharge. Kharge stated that the verses, 'ಬೆಲ್ಲದ ಕಟ್ಟೆಯ ಕಟ್ಟಿ, ಬೇವಿನ ಬೀಜವ ಬಿತ್ತಿ, ಜೇನು ಮಳೆಗರೆದರೆ ವಿಷ ಹೋಗುವುದೇನಯ್ಯ!' (Belleda kattey katti, baveena beejava bitti, jenu malegaredare visha hoguvudenaayya!), highlight the culture and values passed down by elders. He also criticized the situation, stating that while a person may leave their birthplace, they cannot abandon the field where they stood yesterday.
