Food Safety Department denies permits to 102 packaged drinking water units

The Food Safety Department has taken strict action against packaged drinking water units in the state. A total of 102 units were denied permits due to non-compliance with FSSAI standards. Following inspections on October 29 and 30, the department granted permits to 12 units and green-lit the license renewal for 57 units.
