Operation Cyber Shield: Khaki shock to illegal SIM card sellers in Bengaluru; FIR filed against 5 agencies

Bengaluru Cyber Police conducted a major operation named Operation Cyber Shield to dismantle the network involved in illegally selling SIM cards and indirectly aiding fraud. During the investigation, based on NCRP data, over 45 SIM cards activated from Bengaluru were found to be used in cyber crimes in other states. Police filed FIRs after conducting raids at 5 locations, including major agencies in Kurubarahalli and R.T. Nagar.
