Former MP Ugrappa criticizes government over alleged diversion of Valmiki funds, calls for agitation

Former MP VS Ugrappa criticized his own party’s government on Monday, alleging the diversion of funds meant for the Maharshi Valmiki Scheduled Tribes Development Corporation. Speaking at the Valmiki Jayanti celebration at the Vidhana Soudha Banquet Hall, he warned that if the funds were misused, an agitation would be launched. Ugrappa also urged the government to name the Bidar-Bengaluru National Highway after Maharshi Valmiki.
