Namma Metro Blue Line: New Train Runs at Baiyappanahalli Depot; Trial Service Soon on Main Line

The preliminary trial run of the new train on the Namma Metro Blue Line was conducted at Baiyappanahalli Depot. Trial operations are expected to begin soon on the main line. The 58.19 km route, from Silk Board to Kempegowda Airport, is expected to be fully open for public transport by mid-2027 for Phase-2A and by 2028 for the airport station section.
