Milk Cooperative Delegation meets CM; Requests 8-10 Rupee Increase in Milk Price per Litre

The Karnataka Cooperative Milk Producers' Delegation met Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar at Vidhana Soudha yesterday, requesting an 8-10 rupee increase in the purchase and retail price of Nandini milk per litre. CM D.K. Shivakumar instructed officials to submit comprehensive information regarding the increase in cattle feed prices, the cost of producing one litre of milk, the quantity of milk produced in each district, and the quantity sold outside cooperative societies. He also directed officials to provide details on milk purchase and retail rates in neighboring states.
