Kumaraswamy alleges former CM Siddaramaiah was aware of sting operation while in office

Union Minister H D Kumaraswamy alleged on Thursday that former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah was 'aware' of the sting operation carried out by Rakesh Shetty, owner of a private TV channel, while the former was in office. Kumaraswamy also alleged that Shetty had close ties to CM D K Shivakumar. He demanded a probe supervised by a sitting high court judge. Kumaraswamy stated that the state government was trying to 'frame' him in the case and demanded the arrest of the main accused, Rakesh Shetty.
