High Court rejects plea to quash FIR regarding child's finger injury during drip removal

The High Court rejected the plea to quash the FIR filed against doctors and the management of Chinmaya Mission Hospital in Indiranagar. The court directed that a thorough investigation must be conducted to determine if medical negligence occurred. The FIR was filed at the Indiranagar Police Station under Section 125(b) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita–2023, following allegations that a child's little finger was injured while the nurse was removing the drip.
