Kannada Development Authority Chairman highlights crisis in Kannada education system

At the 16th Kannada Sahitya-Samskruti Sammelana-2026 in Bengaluru, Purushottam Bilimale, Chairman of the Kannada Development Authority, spoke during the 80th birthday celebration of K.M. Raveendranagar. He expressed concern that Kannada is facing a severe crisis, citing the closure of Kannada schools and the lack of job opportunities for Kannadigas. Bilimale stated that the education system is not equipping students with necessary skills for new jobs.
