BMTC and KSRTC Bus Pass Fares See Major Hike; Government Increases Rates by Up to 23%

The Karnataka government has significantly increased bus ticket fares for four transport corporations, including BMTC and KSRTC, to offset financial losses. BMTC has increased its daily and monthly pass rates by 20 to 25 percent. Following this, KSRTC has also raised monthly pass rates by an average of 23 percent. The revised rates are now in effect, impacting daily commuters.
