Irregular garbage collection leads to growing blackspots across Bengaluru

Irregular waste collection is causing garbage blackspots to appear across Bengaluru, particularly in neighborhoods where door-to-door collection is irregular. Residents report that auto-tippers sometimes do not turn up for an entire week, leading to waste being dumped at one point. The number of complaints received on civic body’s Sahaya platform and the NammaKasa platform reflects the scale of the problem.
