Heavy rains cause waterlogging and traffic snarls across Bengaluru

Heavy rains on Monday evening caused waterlogging and traffic snarls across Bengaluru. Commuters reported traffic pile-ups at locations including B Narayanapura Main Road, Marathahalli, Kadubeesanahalli, Varthur Kodi, Krishnarajapuram Outer Ring Road, SJP Road, Mahatma Gandhi Road, and Queen’s Road. The Bengaluru Traffic Police confirmed that normal traffic flow in and around Whitefield was affected, and vehicular movement on the BGS Flyover in Chamarajpet was also severely affected due to waterlogging.
