GBA, Metro authorities directed to redevelop Tin Factory Junction into pedestrian-friendly public space

Greater Bengaluru Development Minister Krishna Byre Gowda directed the GBA and Metro authorities to redevelop KR Puram’s Tin Factory Junction into a commuter- and pedestrian-friendly public space. The proposed master plan will focus on improving pedestrian safety, public transport connectivity, and traffic flow at the junction. Officials were also instructed to repair damaged connecting roads and potholes within a week. The GBA will prepare the redevelopment plan in consultation with Metro officials, Janaagraha, and Agari Indians.
