Citizen groups propose two-year SORT plan to redesign Sarjapur–ORR mobility corridor

Citizen groups have proposed an ambitious two-year plan, the Sarjapur ORR Transformation (SORT), to transform the Sarjapur Road–Outer Ring Road (ORR) corridor into a world-class mobility hub. The plan aims to ease traffic congestion by running buses every five minutes during peak hours and creating safe footpaths and dedicated cycling lanes. Proponents suggest testing airport-style automated walkways between Iblur, Bellandur, and Marathahalli.
