GBA Chief orders action on setback violations, inspects city infrastructure

Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) Chief Commissioner M Maheshwar Rao inspected several locations in the Bengaluru Central City Corporation limits on Tuesday. He directed officials to issue notices to owners of buildings near Domlur built without necessary setbacks and ordered officials to snap the powerline of a commercial building constructed similarly. Rao also asked officials to explore creating a vending zone or parking facility on the wide footpath at Domlur main road. He further inspected the Wind Tunnel underpass, noting that about 80 per cent of the work is complete and the underpass should be ready by November-end.
