Farmers protest over extension of time for voluntary land donation in Channarayapatna

The deadline for voluntarily donating 1,777 acres of agricultural land, located across 13 villages in Channarayapatna Hobli, has been extended once again. The Channarayapatna Land Acquisition Anti-Protest Committee has strongly objected to the government's action. Farmers and activists questioned the government's intent, stating that the extension of the period for voluntary donation is contrary to the outcome of their prolonged struggle to save the agricultural land.
