EPFO extends deadline for September salary challan submission

The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has extended the deadline for submitting the electronic challan and details (ECR) for September salary. The deadline, which was previously October 15, has been extended to October 31. The EPFO circular stated that the extension was due to changes in the salary limit for mandatory inclusion of employees under the EPFO's purview, effective from September 17.
