Deputy CM G. Parameshwara addresses Maharshi Valmiki Jayanti event on reservation issues

Addressing a Maharshi Valmiki Jayanti program held at the Tapovan in front of the Legislative Assembly on Monday, Deputy CM G. Parameshwara stated that recruitment processes will continue based on the old reservation ratio (50%) after the High Court cancelled the 6% increase for SC/ST communities. He added that the cabinet has given consent to appeal to the Supreme Court against the High Court order and that the central government will be pressured to amend Article 9 of the Constitution.
