CM DK Shivakumar buys handmade cradle for granddaughter from Gruha Lakshmi beneficiary

During a dialogue event in Bengaluru regarding the Gruha Lakshmi Scheme, CM DK Shivakumar was impressed by the craft work and efforts of an individual from Kalaburagi. He purchased the handmade cradle, made of beads, for his granddaughter, giving ₹500. The beneficiary, M. S. Suvarnamma, started a small craft business using the funds from the scheme, selling items like bead cradles and pearl necklaces. She shared that her small enterprise has expanded to major cities like Mumbai, Pune, and Hyderabad.
