Central City Corporation to Seize Properties if Tax Arrears Remain Unpaid

The Central City Corporation was supposed to collect 75 crore rupees in taxes monthly, but only 35 crore rupees were collected. Commissioner G. Jagadish instructed officials to speed up tax collection. He stated that 150 locks have been provided to lock properties if previous year's tax payments are not made immediately. The Commissioner also noted that about 15,000 properties have outstanding property tax payments from previous years.
