BWSSB jurisdiction expands to Yelahanka and Anekal taluks, but Kaveri water is not immediately available

The government issued a notification expanding the jurisdiction of the Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB). The expanded area will cover the entire regions of North, East, South, Yelahanka, and Anekal taluks of Bengaluru Urban District. While the board's jurisdiction previously covered 7 CMCS, 1 TMC, and 110 villages, the expanded area will now include the entire Bengaluru Urban District.
