Entire Bengaluru Urban District to be under BWSSB Jurisdiction: Minister Krishna Bhiregounda

Bengaluru Urban Development Minister Krishna Bhiregounda stated on Friday that the entire Bengaluru urban district has been brought under the jurisdiction of the Bengaluru Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB). An advertisement regarding this was issued on September 24. The minister held a meeting with officials from BWSSB, BMRDA, and the Department of Minor Irrigation to address urban infrastructure issues outside the GBA area. He noted that a comprehensive master plan will be prepared for district areas outside the GBA, and projects will be implemented in phases according to actual urban expansion.
