BMTC to install APC system on 30 buses to improve passenger counting

BMTC is implementing an Automatic Passenger Counting (APC) system on 30 buses to further improve the bus service. This system will install cameras in the bus ceilings and at the entry doors to automatically count passengers. The data will help reconcile passenger numbers with tickets issued through Electronic Ticketing Machines (ETMs).
