BBMP Seizes 3 Acres, 13 Guntas of Government Land in Bengaluru After Removing Illegal Encroachments

BBMP officials removed illegal encroachments and seized 3 acres, 13 guntas of government land in Sarakki village, under the Dakshina Ward area. The land, estimated at 100 crore rupees, was seized after the BBMP cancelled a previous allotment made to the State Agriculture Marketing Department (APMC) and allotted the land for the BBMP Central Office construction on September 3. Officials also warned individuals in other areas to vacate illegal structures on BBMP land immediately and warned that legal action would be taken against those who encroach further.
