Bengaluru-based 'Machani Robotics' develops 'Jiya' robot for film 'Lambodara 2.0'

Director Simple Sunny stated that 'Jiya', a realistic humanoid robot developed by Bengaluru-based 'Machani Robotics', will feature in the film 'Lambodara 2.0'. The robot will appear in the film not as a CGI or puppet, but as a character based on technology. The film, which belongs to the scientific and fantasy genre, stars Anil Shetty and Saachi Bindra in the lead roles. Kunal Kapoor, who has acted in several Hindi films including 'Rang De Basanti', is coming to Kannada cinema.
