Property owners in the Shivaram Karanth locality demanded that BDA provide replacement plots of the same size in their original locations. They stated that they have been de facto displaced after handing over their plots to BDA for the last 10 years. The owners also requested that those whose plots were acquired for public purposes like roads should receive replacement plots of the same size in their original areas.
