Allegations of overcharging for vehicle parking at MG Road

Vehicle owners allege that higher fees are being collected for parking two-wheelers in and around MG Road than the rates set by the Bengaluru Central City Corporation (BBCC). They claim that the private firm SK Infotech, which manages roadside parking in areas including MG Road, Church Street, and Museum Road, is issuing receipts for a two-wheeler parked for one hour at ₹30. However, the official parking fee board displayed by the Corporation states ₹15 per hour for two-wheelers and ₹30 per hour for four-wheelers.
