46.88 lakh names deleted from Bengaluru voter list; details shared

Following the comprehensive revision of the voter list for 28 assembly constituencies in Bengaluru, 59,08,151 voters remain on the list. A total of 46,88,744 names were deleted from the original voter list. During a press conference at the GBA office on Tuesday, Special Commissioner of Elections Shilpa Nag shared details about the SIR process. She also noted that 2,74,372 new names were added to the list, bringing the total increase to 2,08,491 voters.
