Scientist jumps from 5th floor in Bengaluru, suspected suicide case filed

A 47-year-old scientist, identified as Sharad Katiyar, jumped from the 5th floor of an apartment in Seegehalli on the 21st. The incident, which occurred while he was talking to his father, was revealed late. Police have registered an unnatural death case at the K.R. Puram Police Station, and an investigation has begun due to suspicions of suicide related to mental depression.
