₹2500 Crore Kaveri Water Project and Metro Connectivity Planned for Hoskote

A project costing ₹2500 crore has been planned to supply Kaveri water to Hoskote city, and the Asian Development Bank has approved the project. MLA Sharath Bacchagowda stated that the DPR is being prepared for the tender process. He also mentioned that a metro connection of 16.5 km to Hoskote, linking it to KR Puram, is being discussed at the Chief Minister and state government levels, with the project expected to be announced in the 2027-28 budget.
