108 Ambulance Workers Withdraw Strike After Getting Positive Response on Pay Revision and Demands

The 108 ambulance workers have withdrawn their strike after receiving a positive response from the Health Department and the management agency regarding various demands, including pay revision. Workers had given a deadline of until 8 PM on the 22nd for the fulfillment of demands such as equal pay and various demands. The association's vice-president, Paramashiva, stated that they had withdrawn from the strike after receiving assurances from the agency representatives that the demands would be met within the available budget, including increased pay allowance, ₹50 lakh health insurance coverage, and equal pay. The representatives also agreed to changes during the working hours and promised to provide this in writing by Wednesday evening.
